Dear NCGLNAC Members and Friends,

It is with great joy we write to invite you to attend our Grounds dedication in Portland, Indiana, Sunday, April 13, 2003, at 3pm.

It will be an opportunity for you to visit the property and feel the power of the land as it renews itself for spring.

We will have a welcoming circle with planting of a cedar tree, white sage and sweetgrass. In addition the Jay County Fair Board, Portland Chamber of Commerce, Jay County Commissioners, and other interested local organizations, as well as the press, will be on hand to help us celebrate.

The property is easy to find, located on the northeast quadrant of the fairgrounds, which is located in the northeast area of Portland. The town is easy to find, it is situated at the junction of US 27, Indiana 67, and Indiana 26, 45 minutes south of Ft. Wayne, ten miles west of the Ohio border, and 35 miles northeast of Muncie, Indiana.
